Thanks, I forgot all about the contest and didn’t get a picture of inside spread. I’ll see if my taxidermist can get a picture of spread.

You don't need a picture of the spread showing a measurement, firehog. Just list the spread in your entry. The rules don't require a picture showing a measurement.

Starting to get some good deer on my bottom land ground. I hung a stand last week in a area that I only hunted once last year. It’s a half mile deep on the point of a island. I always thought the deer went north and south on the point but I scouted it out the other day and deer seem to be going east and west. Which really got my blood pumping because it works perfect for a NE or N or NW wind. There’s a lot of black oaks dropping on the point and the does have keyed in on that and I guess that’s why I’ve showed so much buck sign. So I spent two hours looking for that right tree and I think I’ve found it. Two big trees fell over back in spring and created a bit of a funnel. It’s got some thicket leading around the felled trees and that seems to help. I threw up 3 cameras just to see what if anything was still around or was it just some early sign. It appears to be pretty constant travel corridor.
