For several years I have watched a lot of You Tube and follow quite a few channels. Some time back the liberal management at You Tube began a process of demonetization of channels that they deemed unacceptable. This translates into any channel of a conservative slant or firearms or hunting related. Now they are going the final step. According to what I saw last night firearms and reloading sites have been notified effective mid April those type channels will no longer be permitted on You Tube. The individual reading his notice stated that hunting channels are out as well. No more live streaming of Fox News. The liberal propaganda outlets are not included. The statement is these type channels are deemed by the all knowing liberal censorship fascists at You Tube to be unacceptable. These are the same people that still permit and monetize ISIS channels with live beheadings, how to make meth, about any sort of sexual perversion some sicko can dream up and on and on. While they are a so called private company in reality they have become almost an online utility. So the argument that they can do as they wish with their property does not hold much water.
There sure seems to me to be a lot of interesting parallels between what is happening at You Tube and the early days of Nazi Germany. Silence the voice of opposition and stop the lines of communication and information exchange. Soon all the people hear is the approved liberal dialogue.
This is a very dangerous attack on freedom.
I saw the other day where the far gone socialists in Canada are trying to get laws so that people that oppose the CO2 global warming argument can be jailed. Is this where the US is headed? Sure seems that way.

Just so they don't mess with my cooking shows :happy0035: That one ole black woman Auntie Fee passed away from a heart attack, I miss her, but she still has a bunch of videos up. Anytime someone or some corporation or even something like Youtube starts censoring, unless its something illegal, its an attack on our freedom. Hunting and hunting shows, gun videos are not illegal. I would say lets boycott but a boycott wouldn't matter to them in the least. We are a minority of their viewers.

I've read the same stuff twodog. Dicks deciding who they are gonna allow to exercise their 2nd amendment right to legally buy a gun in their places of business is a violation of Constitutional rights and also illegal discrimination. Several lawsuits are already in the pipeline and if the Constitution is upheld Dicks will have to reverse itself if it wants to continue selling long rifles. As screwy as some of our laws have become though I'm not sure of the legality of what YouTube is gettin' ready to do. But I suspect law suits of some kind or the other will be filed against them. I also don't have a clue where or if all this extreme dangerous over the top divisive discriminatin' partisanship is gonna stop. But I hope some generation or the other comes to their senses and realizes the dangerous pitfall of partisanship and finds a way to water it down it before the country really does end up in a bloody political struggle that nobody should actually want regardless of their politics. I just hope we haven't reached the point of no return yet.

Whatever happens on YouTube I have no doubt that somebody will set up a similar site for gun owners, and may already have. I know someone in the UK has already set up a site called gunbook.com, open to other countries, as an alternative to Facebook's ongoing liberal take down of gun sales, advertisements, and videos. So now whether YouTube is or isn't legally allowed to do what they're doing, I suspect a pro 2nd Amendment site or 3, similar to their format, will begin poppin' up here in the the good ole USofA.

If you have not been in a Wal Mart lately there are signs in sporting goods stating that it is against federal law to sell guns or ammo to anyone under 21. I emailed Wal Mart corporate and told them that was wrong. It might be Wal mart or the stores policy but it is not federal law yet and may not be. Their response was they would forward the email to the appropriate management team. I saw this at the Clarksville Wal Mart but gather from gun forums it is elsewhere around the country.

I find it somewhat ironic as well as stupid that an 18 year old can serve in the military and be trained and use machine guns tanks missiles and all kinds of very lethal hardware but not buy a box of 12 gauge dove loads.
Politicians have clabbered s*&# for brains.

I saw a video yesterday where the libs were screaming about it was going to be a POed white NRA member and how there needs to be more gun laws. This in a state where they have the most insane gun laws. Kalifornia. Well lo and behold a crackpot Iranian immigrant women vegan. Mad because of You Tube demonetization. Guess the left does not like being silenced. The left storm troopers will come for them too. Just maybe not first.

I have a better idea. I think I will continue to watch Screw Tube and start emailing all the pop up ad folks and say I am boycotting them because they support censorship.

Still hoping for a viable alternative. Full 30 is not yet. Takes forever to load out here in the sticks.

I heard the other day on a conservative talk radio show that Porn Hub was picking up the video channels dropped by Youtube, particulary the gun videos. But who wants to go to Porn Hub I bet you could pick up some viruses there and malware, not to mention a good case of a STD :poundfloor:

Well I look at it like this I lived without You Tube before and I can again. Except for watching old westerns I can see evryting else I watch somewhere else. You Tube might just be pulling a photobucket suicide. Actually with the attitude at You Tube and Google it is my greatest hope both die like dinosaurs.
