My truck started properly yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon all it would do is click. Hooked up the battery charger and left it overnight. I knew the cables were corroded. Went to Autozone to have it checked, thinking I'd need a new battery and cables, about $150. Guy there tests it and says that the alternator is not charging. So off to the dealer where I bought it. Yes an alternator is under warranty. So I left it for them to double check. About 20 minutes ago, they called and said that BEFORE they can check the alternator, I need a new battery, apparently there is a hole in mine, and both cables! this comes to about $190. Oh and of course $150 or so for 1 hour's labor! :censored: :censored: :tantrum:

Yeah I went and got it, bought a battery and a cable end for the hot cable. The ground cable just got cleaned really good. I try to do some of my repairs, but It's gotten so overly complicated and I'm not a mechanic.
