Heard AGFC were trapping turkey before season in north AR. If so why and what did they do with them? Anyone know anything about this?

They traded them to Africa for honey badgers to eat the rattlesnakes they traded for back in the 80's. Maybe do a kangaroo trade with Wyoming next year :roll: :poundfloor:

Actually they did trap as part of a research project and put telemetry collars on gobblers and released where trapped.

I heard they trap them and turn them lose on the commissioners lease.

maybe they trapped them so there will be enough turkey meat for sale in the groceries - hahaha, joking. but then God knows what they did it for. Won't say what I don't know. But if anyone knows the truth, then please, be kind to share with us.
