Read a few mixed non resident hunter reviews on Nebraska. Not all but most said public land was over crowded and that most of Nebraska's turkey were on private land. Said best bet for non residents was to go with an outfitter.....

That leaves me out. A neighbor went last week and hunted public and killed one. He said there were lots of turkeys but they were related to Arkansas turkeys with a bad case of smarta$$$
