I think it's backwards from that Duster. Those that won't water swat are usually the ones who get all bent out of shape at the water swatters... :happy0035:

I just figure if they have to revert to water swatting they can't hit one on the wing.

I once shot a dove off a branch, couldn't help it, it was right over my head where we had set up for incoming. It was the first shot of the day and I caught it when he fell out of the tree. My dad says, "show off" my brother says "cheater" :happy0035:

At one time back in my younger life I wouldn't even consider limb swattin' a wild turkey. That woulda been an unforgivable sin and condemned me to a lifetime in turkey hunters Hell if any of my huntin' friends had found out about it. But now since it's a lot harder on my ole worn out body to hunt them, and since the season opens so late and they're harder to find, well.... if I ever see one sittin' on a limb it just might end up in my truck with me comin' home and tellin' all my buddies about how far and how long I had to follow that sucker up and down mountain after mountain after mountain all the while patiently waitin' for all his hens to leave him so I could get him close enough to get a good bead him..... :happy0035:

I had a buddy borrow my turkey gun many years ago when turkeys were rare in these parts. He said he had roosted one and was going to get him first light. When that time came he was in range, almost under the roost tree :woohoo: .... Kaboom and out fell the largest Buzzard he had ever seen. I don't think he ever swatted one off a limb after that... :smiley1735:
