I think he did nothing wrong, the batter showed him up and was sent a message next time at bat. When you hit a home run you put your head down and run the bases, celebrate after you cross the plate. Or show a sign of joy and get with it circling the bases. You don't stand at the plate and admire the flight of the ball, you don't toss the bat in a cocky way. You don't show up the pitcher. I don't think he should be suspended, what you think?

I've always been against a pitcher intentionally throwing at anybody for any reason. And it's gettin' out of hand. I mean I'm really sorry the pitcher got his poor little feelings hurt because a .195 hitter momentarily celebrated a rare home run he hit when the pitcher made a mistake and threw him a home run ball. But then to intentionally throw at the batter at his next at bat is nothin' short of plain ole thuggery and should be dealt with on that level.... :yep: Baseball was never intended to be a violent sport and shouldn't be allowed to be turn into one by today's undisciplined and overpaid spoiled players and TV ratings....

I don't know...you know use to be, way way back, you got a player out that was running to the base by hitting him with the baseball, throwing the ball at him, not to the fielder covering the bag. Too many players were getting injured, well ya, so they changed the rule.
